Five Quick Questions

If I could only give one piece of advice...

Work out your budget and double it...

The most essential thing I took with me

The built in shower

The most useless thing I took with me (non-human)

Camoing flint lighter, matches are always available

Most ingenious self repair of the trip

Would I recommend it?

Definetly, haven't started the trip yet, but it's a trip of a life time.

Tetbury (UK) to Port Elizabeth (SA)

Tetbury (UK) to Port Elizabeth (SA) (1st October 2011- April 2012)

Ruth and Jeremy are driving from UK to SA, expected to take us 6 months and 15 000miles.

We're expecting to leave on the 1st October 2011 (hoping though, this depends on how far we can get with preparation). Tetbury being the place that Ruth grew up and Port Elizabeth being the place that Jeremy grew up, from one side to the other overland.

In March 2012 I will be leaving…
From Cape Town on a two year trip with my wife (Sam) and children (biological daughter, adopted Xhosa son)
We’re planning a 60,000km, 30 country circumnavigation of the African continent.
Africa Clockwise.

Hence I’m just writing my third theatre show - Africa Clockwise.
Which will run throughout SA in 2011 and continue in 2014. (with some major changes)

It’s a one man comedy which aims to demonstrate that Africa has much to offer the world in these times of Green Apathy. The timing is perfect for a Climate Change Comedy.

This will be SA’s first Eco-Comedy and the first theatre show to not only be completely Carbon Neutral but also powered only by renewable resources!

etc etc blah blah
